Mark S. Comora is the Founder and President of FORTISTAR. Since founding FORTISTAR in 1993, Mr. Comora has led its growth in the decarbonization of power generation, transportation fuels and industrial processes. Mr. Comora is the Chairman of FORTISTAR’S management and investment committees. Additionally, Mr. Comora currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of OPAL Fuels (Nasdaq: OPAL), a member of Board of Managers at Braven Environmental, LLC, and is an Officer and Member of the Board of the American Museum of Fly Fishing. Mr. Comora is a CPA, has an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Michigan. Mr. Comora is married with two sons and four grandchildren. He is also the father of Mr. Adam Comora.
Lance Moll served as President and Chief Executive Officer of FedEx Freight, where he led more than 40,000 employees and drove record growth. Under Lance’s leadership, FedEx Freight’s revenue rose 30% and operating income nearly tripled. Over his 33-year career at FedEx, Mr. Moll held multiple leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Operations, where he oversaw sales, transportation, fleet maintenance, facility services, and safety. He began his career at American Freightways in 1992 and advanced through multiple roles before assuming executive leadership. Mr. Moll serves on the boards of the Trucking Cares Foundation, Southern Reins Center for Equine Therapy, and US Chamber of Commerce Foundation. He earned a BSBA degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Nadeem Nisar has been serving as a Managing Director of FORTISTAR since July 2008, as the head of the Investment Team. He is a member of the management and investment committees which oversee the operations of FORTISTAR’S portfolio companies where he serves on the board of directors for Carbonfree Chemicals LLC, Braven Environmental, Pellucure Technologies and EPIC Star Energy. Mr. Nisar has executed a successful long-term strategy of sponsoring control investments in large-scale power generation and energy infrastructure companies and led growth equity investments in biofuels, carbon capture, and circular economy sectors. He was with Deutsche Bank AG’s Power & Utilities group and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC’s M&A and Global Energy teams, advising on $30 billion in M&A and $20 billion in financing transactions. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington University and a BA in Physics and Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.
